Question about 1990 Dodge Dynasty
Put new fuel pump on it but will not stay running...
Shorted alternater will cause automatic shut down relay to shut down unplug alternater from circuit see if fixed

Either you made a mistake when putting in the fuel pump on or you might just have air in the system or bad fuel pump relay

Well first i domt think this vehicle is carburated it is fuel injected anywho may be a vacume leak check aLL hoses for cracks or any that are unattached then i would check the idle control valve or(IAC)_may be stuck try spraying throttle cleaner and swabbing out the throttle body

hello,good day,first we are in fuel side,better to install a fuel gauge,to determine the right pressure, is not mention your fuel pump relay,this should also check,some occasion the power supply is missing,now if all is in order (fuel side) then your switching unit(transistor box) need tobe check,assuming your engine is 103 engine,ty

had this problem on my neighbors 98 chevy truck with the same engine !!
it turnd out too be the fuel pressure regulator,you have too pull the upper intake too replace it!!

If you replaced the fuel pump then there is a possibility that during the job then some debris from the tank and/or filter got loose somewhere into the fuel system and is in your lines. It could even be a very tiny speck of gasket material, old or new.
