Question about 1996 Honda Accord
My son is a mechanic....more info would help from each of you as to specifics.....but anyway.....he says that a common problem is associated with hondas in that the distributor...gets hot and the after a while it will start...so try replacing the dist....he has done this many times. Hope this helps.please rate my effort....the fang.

The speed sensor relay (located on the gearbox) fixed it for me.

Have a comprssion test done, you probably have very high milage and the rings on the piston are wore out because when the engine is hot the cylinders expand and the compression rings are not expanding with the cylinder
