Question about 1996 Chevrolet Caprice Classic
My car was fine the night I parked it, however the next morning I went to start it up and it would not turn over. I cleaned my key with rubbing alcohol and also with a cotton swab to try to make sure no dirt in the crevices. It still did not turn over. I then got my spare (original) key and it too did not work. Cleaned that key as well. I then talked to a dealership and surprise, they said they couldn't help until it was towed in and they could have a look see but thought it would involve the steering column being removed stating it possibly was the chip in there. Well, I have no job and no money, could be I may lose my house soon and now I won't even have a car to live in! Any ideas on how to get it to run?
