The air conditioner on my 1996 jeep grand cherokee leaks or drains into the carpet on the passenger side of the interior. how do i access the drain to see if its clogged?
I had the same problem. Drilled a hole in the round plastic extension beneath the glove box, behind the carpet. Now run a coat hanger through it, followed by alot of compressed air. It may take several times, debri from above may be continuosly replugging drain. when you are done, clean thoroughly, and patch with hot melt glue. Good luck.
Here is what helped me;

The a/c drain tube will be located on the firewall. It will be on the passenger side twards the bottom of the firewall. It will be about 3/8 inch in diameter, and about 1-2 inches long sticking out of the firewall. You will probably need to get under the vehicle to gain acess.
