Fuel Pump will not come on

I have changed the fuse for the fuel pump still does not work: I bought a new fuel pump still does not work. I took the fuel pump out and jumped it from the battery (worked) put it back in the tank still does not work. I tested hot wires at the pump and they tested positive. I can not get the fuel pump to kick on. I am lost!

I had the same problem. Check the splice in the wiring harness under the relay box. Where it was coroaded on mine was visible. Look it over, may have to cut the tape. There is 3 red and white wires that splice into one wire,( same color). I fixed mine with a peice of wire and 2 wire nuts..Good Luck...Hope this helps.

I have a 2003 Buick rendezvous it just stalled on me the other day so I got a fuel pump changed it now it still won't start I checked the fuses and bought a new fuel pump relay fuse still won't start.

are you getting fuel or just changed pump because it died ---try starter fluid if starts --recheck fuel pump--relay for power --connections to pump -new doesnt mean free from defects or improper installation no start test for spark -

I have a new battery. i have changed the fuel

I'm guessing you checked the fuses already, so if you have spark at the plugs, look for a vacuum leak. If you still suspect the fuel pump, do a fuel pressure test.

The inline fuel pump fuse on the passenger side firewall is good? Are you jumping it with 12 volts at the test lead or the fuse?
