Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I have a Ford courier 2006 turbo diesel with auto hubs. I want to put in manual hubs and diff from a 2002 petrol mazda bravo. Are the diff ratios the same ?.

Petrol & Diesel would normally have different ratios because of the different max revs..
Count the teeth on the Crown Wheel & pinion to make sure you get the same ratio

What is the torque on a 1998 isuzu rodeo from the cylinders to the block

which engine there are 3 to 4 opted
nobody can guess whats under your hood.
are you working on it not knowing what i there.
for sure doing major work book free. no FSM.
why do that, working blind.
there many critical steps to engine assembly.
not trivial.
Ill guess now, (silly huh) the 3.2 twin cam (w)
if you google using real names of engines, facts can be learned.
and some rumors dead wrong.... that is why the FSM works best.

2.3 L 4ZD1 I4
2.4 L C24SE I4 (GM, Aus)
2.4 L C24NE I4 (Euro)
2.6 L 4ZE1 I4
3.1 L LG6 V6 (GM)
3.2 L 6VD1/6VD1W V6
2.5 L 4JA1 diesel I4 (Cameo, TH)
2.8 L 4JB1-T turbo diesel I4
3.0 L 4JH1-T turbo diesel I4
3.1 L 4JG2 turbo diesel I4

FSM means factory service manual, OEM READ DEAL.

Wiring diagram or service manual for grand cherokee 3,1td(2000y)

for what? WJ sure.

3.1 liter turbo diesel.
2000.
our books (USA) don't cover diesel , we dont have it. try EU, forum for help.
we have GAS.
the wiki tells me this.
I'd not touch it with out your real FSM on this. from JEEP (your country)
my guess a supplement booklet on this TD? at Jeep.

quote:
The 3.1 litre turbo-diesel on the 1999 Grand Cherokee was developed in conjunction with Detroit Diesel/VM Motori. It has an electronic injection pump, electronically-controlled, vacuum-actuated exhaust gas recirculation, and a special catalyst to control oxides of nitrogen (NOx). Manufactured in Cento, Italy, at 13,000 units per year. It was available in European models and meets the European stage III emissions.

Is it common for the diff to whine slightly on a Jeep Cherokee with 89000 miles on the clock. Thanks

Not a common thing but yes they do give out.Get the fluid levels checked 1st and these diffs need friction modifier in the oil(limited-slip diff).Just make sure 1st it's not a rear wheel bearing. If you are sure it's the diff, they are quite easy to change. It's the pinion gear that usually goes.Hope this helps
