I have chev lumina 2000 my car not getting started when i try next day it will start like this 10 times then it will not start.

check for loose wiring or a break in the wiring.

to reset security you'll ned to do the 10min key with ign. on for 3times after each 10 min turn key off briefly then back on without trying to restart after 30min or three 10min ign on cycles turn off key briefly then the car should start

Sounds like a fuel pump problem or the cam or crank sensor are starting to go hope this helps ya out or gets ya started on the right path good luck

I'd start with battery cables. (Hear me out) Lights and other accessories draw minimal amps whereas your starter draws 100s of amps. Your battery cables, especially the bottom ends are exposed to grease and grime which causes resistance. By turning key multiple times you actually heat cables up and they expand making better contact. That would be my first thing to look at. You very well could have bad starter & solenoid but I'd start w/cables. Clean them with a good stiff wire brush.

whens the last time you changed the fuel filter? ther maybe to much water in the filter and the tank, on warmer days the fuel maybe trying to seprate in the filter, when you go to start it you maybe trying to run it on water more then diesel. add a cetien booster to the tank of fuel you have see if that helps

Looking from the front of the car, left side (drivers) the plug closest to you is #1
#2 is the closest to you on the right side.
#3 is the second on on the left
#4 is the second on on the right
#5 is the next on the left
#6 in the next on the right.

When it stops, does it have spark? (crank sensor)

check your starter solinoid, may have to replace it with starter.

you more than likely need a new ignition..
