Question about 1998 Pontiac Grand Am
Oil light comes on if i go fast enough around bends and turns right back off. Could this be likely the oil pump, the oil is fine not burnt and the oil level is good. i also just had my oil changed, what could it be?
NOOOO Sounds more like the sending unit. Possibly, just a loose connection. Sending unit is located next to the oil filter. It has two wires going into it. can't miss it. Check the connector first. Make sure there's no oil on the plug ins. If that doesn't work, you probably need to change the sending unit. personal note; slow down on the curves a little. Lol Hope this helps. Good luck.
