You most likely have a sticking AC cycling switch, this is located in the low pressure AC line or the accumulator under the hood, it is round and has a wire connector attached.

How to remove fan clutch on 96 bravada

The fan clutch on these models screws on to the water pump via a big nut. If you go to your local auto parts store and ask them for a fan clutch wrench set. They will usually have a loaner program so you wont need to purchase the tool ultimately. Once you have the new clutch ready to be installed, screw it on a couple of turns and then start the engine. The fan clutch will lock right into place. No need to use the wrenches after the removal. I have never had one walk off. Great trick and saves time and energy.

Only speedo & trip odometer works, rest works once in awhile when you hit a bump or thump the dash, any suggestions?

Its got to be an intermittent connection, means taking the dash off and checking all connections are good.

I have an 1985 Bronco 2 with five speed manual transmission, it grinds when I go to shift into reverse with the clutch all the way in but shifting into 1-OD if fine its just reverse??????

The gears 1 and OD, (and any other EXCEPT reverse) have synchronizers that will reduce grinding, for a while...
Your condition sounds like the clutch is not fully disengauging, OR you may not be waiting long enough before attempting to select reverse... Check the clutch adjustment for full disengaugement....Do not let this continue or you will wear out the synchros in the other gears....

Vehicle will crank over once then seems like starter slips

What do you mean by the starter slips? One common possibility is the starter drive. It is the one way clutch that keeps the runing engine from over spinning the starter and killing it. Near the end of the drive's life, the starter will disengauge early. the cure is pretty easy, replace the starter.

Need to know how to tell if the compressor clutch is engaging in a 2001 Olds Bravada. It just got recharged and is still blowing warm air.

You will hear the AC compressor clicking on and off if working. If it clicks on and off all the time that tells you that the unit is low on freaon. If it clicks on and stays on the compressor is operating fine

The 4wd light stays on. I have tried pushing the level up and down without success. I also having a problem starting the car (manual gear). I also have a problem while starting the jeep. It is not...

Light will not go out until the gears actually disengauge. Typically there is SOME preload on the gears and that keeps them engauged and light indicates so, correctly. To disengauge, move lever to disengauge and drive in left and right circles. This allows the front drive and rear drive to alter their relation in the transfer case, eventually allowing for release.

A?C does not work

Ford uses a relay system for the compressor clutch, have someone turn the a/c on while u listen for the relay to click. If you can hear it click check the compressor clutch wire (2 wire plug) to make sure it actually has power. the 6 and 10 series compressors that Ford uses are known to just fail all at once.
