2004 Trailblazer - replaced blown speakers in back, now it won't start. Need to replace 2 more speakers - how can I do that without this happening again? Had to jump to get it started. How can replacing speakers drain the battery????

This is just a guess but has happened to me before. The battery may be on the weak side and guessing you may have had the doors open for some time as well as the radio going for a while as well which could have pulled the battery down.

Blown fuse amp start fuel 8

Pls be more specific, doe's this fuse keep blowing or what? Fuse blows and your car won't start. I have a 2004 GTC and the #8 fuse kept blowing, had to replace the starter, (it was pulling 80amps instead or the normal 30-35) once the starter was replaced, no more starting issues and the fuse no longer blows. Hope this helps, good luck

I replaced battery on 2004 chevy trailblazer and now a/c blows cold and hot

Before any parts are replaced in the HVAC system, try the following procedure to recalibrate the system. Turn all switches and controls to OFF or fully CCW positions, then disconnect the battery for about 2 minutes. Reconnect the battery and turn the ignition to the ON position (don't need to start engine) and don't touch any of the HVAC controls for about 2 minutes. After that try the system again and see if it works correctly, if not, you will need to have a mechanic diagnose it.

What causes my 2004 chevy trailblazer to overheat? I got the radiator replaced, due to a crack across the top from overheating?..I got the water pump and thermostat replaced too..Also the motor stalls

Well kinda sounds like it has overheated quite a few times, so unfortuanetly it's heads are probably warped and head gskts are blown causing compression from cylinders to enter cooling system which causes high pressure in cooling system which in turn blows coolant out and end result...your enj. probably needs replacing ! Sorry for the Bad news

How can i turn off my windshield wipers on my 2004 trailblazer they won't turn off

There are only to things which could cause this. The wiper motor cover or the switch itself.Which is part of the multi-function switch. The cover is cheaper. It is located under the air inlet grill. The cover is on the wiper motor itself. There is a circuit board on here that causes this problem. It is the part you need to replace.Hope this helps.Good luck.

My 2004 trailblazor will not start jus keeps Turning over I have replaced plugs an crank sensor still won't start!

Try leaning under the truck and hitting the gas tank with a basebal bat while someone else is tring to start it. My bet is that you need a fuel pump, if it starts when you hit the tank, have the pump replaced soon.

Rear speakers stopped working in 2004 chevrolet trailblazer

This could be caused by many things. Generally, if they just stop working altogether (without being abused) it's a failure in the internal amplifier in the radio (head unit) itself. Other possibilities include:

1.) Blown speakers due to abuse
2.) Faulty wiring

You can test for a blown speaker by using a multimeter to measure the resistance in each speaker. Unhook them and put the contacts on the terminals. They should read at or near 4 ohms of resistance. If it is 0 or near 0, they are blown. Ask your kids if they turned daddy's radio up loud when he goes into the store ;)

I need to know how to remove rear door panel so that i can replace factory speaker on a 2004 trailblazer. Also what size speaker will replace it.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. I don't know what speaker you'll actually need.
