Question about 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier
I have a 1995 Chevy Cavalier 2.2L and it has a miss at idle. I have replaced the spark plugs and wires, new coil packs, new ignition module, new fuel pump, new fuel injectors. The car runs fine at speeds and i have no codes at all check all vacuum hoses and no leaks. And also i have rebuilt the motor and put a new TCC solenoid in it. Hope someone can help me. Thanks.
Check your egr vavle. i had this problem with my old cavalier and it was as easy as removing it and cleaning it. It's probably plugged up with carbon

Look in the direction of the PCM,maybe there is a reflash to address common problems.

To avoid confusion, remove and tag the spark plug wires one at a time, for replacement.
If a distributor is not keyed for installation with only one orientation, it could have been removed previously and rewired. The resultant wiring would hold the correct firing order, but could change the relative placement of the plug towers in relation to the engine. For this reason it is imperative that you label all wires before disconnecting any of them. Also, before removal, compare the current wiring with the accompanying illustrations. If the current wiring does not match, make notes to reflect how your engine is wired.
