97 K1500 passenger side floorboard gets soaking wet with really hot water. No sign of leaks in hoses or radiator and air conditioning drain is draining. Help??

Check the heater core it has a leak in it. Is the radiator losing antifreeze or a small amount at a time. Then it would be the heater core if no other leaks are showing.

Why would there be transmisson fluid leaking out of radiator?

Radiators on automatics have a separate reservoir for transm. fluid cooling purposes. Didn't you remove the transm. fluid cooling lines from the radiator-a feed line to the radiator and a return line from radiator to the transmission? They are small steel lines that connect on the end of the radiator.

Check for milky oil
It may help to have the radiator cleaned and flushed, and a new thermostat installed, the coolant may be going out the overflow
Not certain how it ruins radiator caps, they hold about 5psi in the radiatior and let excess pressure into the overflow, then when the engine cools, allow coolant to s uck back form the overflow tank
