Water pump pretty cut n dry replace it ,thermostat & gasket . trans shudder at cruising range --- whats the milage ? 50,000 or more i suggest changing trans fluid & filter . NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH A TRANS FLUSH 2 totally diffrent service's.. pull pan change filter & there's a plug on some torq-convertors, depending on transmission ,E4OD has the plug, 4R70W AODE do NOT. SO JUST CHANGE WHATS IN PAN & LET IT DRAIN ASA LONG AS YOU CAN. if no plug service twice in a 3 week period. then if it still does it the trans needs to be rebuilt.

also check for bad spark plugs. they do take platinum plugs ,there more expesive but well worth it. plus thats what is called for by manufacturer.

CHANGED WATER PUMP NOW THE TRUCK DON'T WANT TO TURN OVER?

Did you disconnect/reconnect battery? Do you have power? Are all the drive belts properly routed and tightened? Is coolant/water levels full? How bad did the truck overheat before you changed the water pump? If the truck was running fine before you changed the water pump, then double check that you properly reinstalled and reconnected all components you removed to gain access to the pump. Make sure your battery connections are secure and properly charged. If you didn't disconnect the battery when replacing pump, it's a possibility at some point you could have shorted the battery to ground and blew a fuse. Check all of your main fuses, then check all other fuses.

Otherwise, even if you installed a bad water pump, it has nothing to do with truck turning over. The only possibilities are that engine froze before changing pump, drive belts not properly reinstalled/secured, components not properly reinstalled or connected, or battery shorted and blew a fuse, or fuses. Let me know how it goes.

could possible be a bad fuel pump or a bad fules filter a dirty fuel filter can cause the same effects as a quick solution try running vehicle with dry gas when u get down to a quater tank should evaperate any water and also replace that fuel filter before a good fuel pump goes bad and will cost you alot more than a filter

1997 ford e 350 v-10 stutters when accelerating. Smooth otherwis

The fuel pump is on top of gas tank inside, you have to lower the tank, unless is mounted on gas tank side, follow fuel lines, thy are two, one main and one return, the fuel filter is on the main under driver

Sometimes it runs ok,then every now and then it stutters and sometimes there is no fuel getting through, its a nissan micra 1993 model

My 93 nissan truck had a similar problem with stuttering that was fixed by replacing the fuel pump. Hitting a bump or even slamming the tailgate would cause it to start.
