Yep, low pressure switch on accumulator. sometimes the low and hi pressure switch are the same. check with your parts store (O'Reilly Auto Parts are the best) and they can tell you if they are separate. You will lose your ac charge when replacing but if you run the system with it jumpered and lose your pressure you will burn up your compressor. Be careful.

clean and tighten all your battery connections and fully charge it,, when you get it charged , have it LOAD tested, you may have a dead cell in it, once you know you have a good , fully charged battery ,, test the battery posts with a meter,, you should get a reading of 13.5 to 14.5 volts, if not, your alternator isn't charging correctly,, ( note,, use extreme care when jumping another car, a single back feed into your car could fry the computer,,

Ac quits blowing cold after 30 minutes to an hour system is fully charged, compressor cycles

could be freezing up, (too cold) have pressures checked when it stops cooling. If you park it, a lot of water will come out as the evaporator defrosts. I suspect IF does have a full charge, then the orifice tube may be plugged.

A\c does not blow cold and system is

A 1999 Cherokee with the compressor running can be overcharged or the compresser blown, ( not pumping) Most of the timw if this happens the pump is noisely when running with gauges hooked to the system and the compressor on the low side shold be low and the high side 175 lbs. or more. If it is and the lines coming from the compressor are hot on the highside(small)and coldonthelow ( bigger ) thenan air doormay not be working in the dash. a scanner may help looking thought the body control systems and find something not working correctly.

A/C NO LONGER BLOWS COLD

sounds like the a/c is not fully charged, have the system serviced by pulling the freon out and pull a vaccum on the system and recharging with proper amount of freon. this should fix the problem. if when fully charged and this happens either the high pressure switch or low pressure switch could be bad.

Air Conditioning

Check your pressures again. Jump the pressure switch and see if this makes the compressor come on. If it does then jump it long enough to get some more freon into the system. This should give switch enough pressure.

Make sure your vacuum is good on the system before you fill.
