SOURCE: chevy s10 broken vacuum line

The plastic line in the wiring harness goes to the heater controls; and believe it or not , the other end goes to the vacuum tank - but its in the FENDER !!!!! behind the ABS, kinda under the drivers side hood hinge - great place to put one ain't it ? No wonder GM is going broke !! Good Luck

Hi
Take down the Vin # - call the local dealer - ask for the parts department and explain what you need. They should give it to you.

I have a 2006 Dodge durango with a P2074 code what is that and how to i fix it

This code is in reference to a inaccurate amount of air to fuel mixture. Generally speaking a high air flow. This could be caused from a loose or broken vacuum line, or a faulty sensor.
I suggest that you do a thorough inspection of all the rubber vacuum lines under the hood. Any hose that shows signs of wear or damage should be replaced.
You should also look for any open vacuum ports that are sucking air. If you start the truck and listen very carefully you may be able to hear a sucking sound if you have a vacuum line broke.
You can also use a carb cleaner to spray around the vacuum lines and fittings with the engine running to see if you get a idle change. If you do get a idle change or stall then you are in the area of the problem. You will then need to look at each hose real good.
If after testing you do not find any leaks or missing hoses, then you may have to replace the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor).

Heater and frost build up

The direction of the air is controlled by vacuum, you may have a leak in one of the lines that control the doors. On the sides of the dash should be vents that blow on the door and the vacuum issue may be the culprit.
You can try looking for a leak/listening to narrow down the area. I will see if i can get ahold of a diagram and or testing proceedures to cure your ill.

Air not blowing out of the vents of my 2003 Dodge Durango

From what I hear it is a vacuum line issue. Mine is doing the exact same thing. So, I am going to get a diagram and try checking the vacuum lines to see if any are loose or tore

I go under the dash and feel the air flowing out the floor and it is coming out of the defrost, also. I noticed under the drivers side today that air is flowing and there seems to be a gap in between a part under there. There was some material stuff I saw around the edge of it that sticky brown stuff and it sometimes before came out my vents all the time. Anyways, not sure if my air is just not sealed good to blow out the vents but it is something that happened not long ago and we've not done anything under our dash area.

Car takes a few seconds to start & shuts off immediately

how old is your battery? because if it is weak the idle air control solenoid will not sit in the right location thus the vehicle will stall and wont stay running .replacing a weak battery will fix this problem .
