It can be repaired. From what you have told me it coud be the clutch cable. At the worse it will be a new clutch. I hope you find this information helpful.

Problems selecting 1st gear peugeot 106 1.1 zest

If the clutch is a problem you will have difficulty selecting 1st only as the gears would be spinning from the engine revs.. I would say that the front input shaft (clutch shaft) bearing is failing allowing miss alignment of the synchros and not allowing proper engagement of the gears synchro rings. It means removal and repair to the gear box so the clutch can be inspected while the box is out.

I just want to find out if it is safe to drive about 600 km. I was ask to drive my friends car as she is relocating. I took the car for a drive yesterday and realised the clutch pedal I extremely hard to...

The stiff clutch may just be the nature of the car. Ask your friend if they know of any problems with the clutch. If it doesn't make any odd noises, I think it would be safe. If the clutch is cable controlled, rather than a hydraulic clutch. it may need adjusting. It won't affect the stiffness, but it may make shifting a little smoother.

Peugot 106 got warter under rocker cover and white creamey gung going from the breather from the rocker to the air filtter been told its not head gasket

So it's not the head gasket? And you are still losing coolant? Well, okay, you will have to find how the water is getting into the rocker, and whether it's your lost coolant or plain water. IDK, possibly an intake manifold leak?
Even though the oil looks clean, the water and gunge in the rocker area will drain into the sump and contaminate the oil. If it's not the coolant, run the engine until it is hot, then give it a few minutes for the oil and water to drain down from top of the engine into the oil sump. Then change the oil and oil filter. Good luck, hope you find the problem.

Gears stick

If your car is a manual gear change, your clutch may need adjusting or repair or the gearbox oil may need changing.
If your car is an auto check to see if you are using the correct transmission fluid , Peugeot autos do not use normal ATF and will fail if the correct fluid is not used.
Hope this helps Marshall

My daughter has a Peugeot 206cc 2003/4 i beleive.

In my opinion there is problem with starter thats not engaging or if engaging then can't turn the fly wheel. The other method i can suggest is that to take the help of your friends. Push the car on road. Place the car in 2nd gear and keep pressing the clutch. Let the car push by your friends and by a suitable speed release the clutch in one go to give the engine whole shock of force to start. I think you know what i want to say. Its a push start method. Be carefull that power assistance is not available until engine starts hence you need muscle power for a hard steering and brakes.

Coolant overheating

I'm not a peugeot guy butr the only item in the cooling system that would require a bearing or bushing is the pump...check shaft for side and end play. Only other possibility is that someone recently worked on it and accidentally caused a leak, or found one and used so much sealer that it plugged the radiator (some sealers have a fine powder that resembles what you described)

I have a peugeot 106 quiksilver, my oil light is always on when my engine is on but i have checked my oil and it is full?do you know if there is something wrong?

It could be a faulty oil sending unit or sensor. If the light sometimes flickers it could be worn main bearings at the crank shaft. But, replace the oil sending unit first that should take care of the problem.
