Hi! is your starter motor cranking or not? if not. make sure all the connection on your battery is tight specially the ground (black) wire. however, if the starter motor cranks. the possible problems are: no.1 starter motor. no 2. ignition system (distributor) no.3 fuel system (fuel pump). no 4. broken timing belt. no 5. loss compression. Hope this will help

not really, except unhook the battery. there are several things constantly running all the time. 'clock, computer, etc. eventially, the battery will drain. then again, your battery may be weak. an auto parts store will test it for free.

1994 toyota corolla brake lights won't turn off

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You need to check the brake switch. Your brake pedal contacts the brake switch when it is pressed down. There is a small button on the brake switch that activates the lights. It may be stuck or broke. Try to loosen the button first. If it won't, buy another one. They only cost a few dollars.

2001 aurora won't start at all. Hook batery up horn horn sounds and doesn't stop head lights stay on but nothing happens when the key is inthe ingition. No clicking or anything at all. alarm on...

The security system does not disable the starter, it only disables fuel to the engine. In the fuse block under the hood, locate the STARTER relay. Place your hand on this relay and see if it clicks while someone else turns the key to start...if the relay is ok then the starter itself is faulty. Good luck, i hope this helps.

My 1994 buick century is draining the battery somehow, I brought a new alternator, a new starter,a new feul pump and the battery is still draing energy somehow, only when turn the car off and the car sits...

I suggest you find the patasitic battery drain @ http://www.wikihow.com/Find-a-Parasitic-Battery-Drain
Something is still running and drastically darning your battery (that or your battery is kaput) Have you tested the battery at all, or even switched it for a new one?
You could also use an annameter to see how much is being drawn from the battery when your car is off.

Have a 2005 chevy equinox. battery dead- trying to replace but every time 1 start to connect the cables the horn goes off (loud!!!) why??

short in wiring/switch probably set off horn, which then killed your battery. Disconnect horn to replace battery, then troubleshoot horn switch.

My car wont start. turn the key and nothing happens, all lights work is it the battery

It is a 2009 Model, it can't be a battery problem. Can you turn on head lights and horn at the same time? if you can't then it may be. Since nothing happens, it means there is a problem with the neutral safety switch at your gear shift. Have it check out. ( $40 buck for the part plus labor)

Would appreciate help for a Toyota Corolla 2007 non-working horn.

If the horn works with direct connection, and fuse, relay, and circuit breaker are all good, it's the switch in the steering wheel. If it is anything like the chrysler auto's, the switch and the air bag module is all one unit, can't replace just the switch, the whole thing, and it's about $700 to $800 for those units, at least it is here, and can only get them at a dealer.
