That is the Cat monitor, not O2 sensor, if there isn't one you may not have a OBD II emission system, 95 is a cross over year, some were OBD I. What is the trouble code. In any event the sensor is right behind the last Cat, not sure if your car has 2.

Anyone has a diagram or pictures from 1995 Mercury Villager showing the location of the two Oxygen sensors, and which one is Front and which one is Rear? Thanks in advance

oxygen sensor are located before the cat converter and after the cat converter. The unit before tha cat converter is normally in the exhaust manifold or in the exhaust before the cat _ it is a heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) the one after the cat converter is located either in the end of the cat or close to in in the exhaust pipe. Its defines as an oxygen sensor (O2S). If you have 2 cat converters (V engines) there will be two of each

Where is bank one sensor two located on a 2004 ford 3.0

I bet you mean O2 sensor. 1st sensor is in exhaust before the converter, 2nd is after converter. 2nd one just indicates when converter is not doing its job, so not crucial to fix as far as running. However, when one O2 sensor fails, can the others be far behind?

Oxygen Sensors

check for an oxygen sensor (HO2S) before the cat converter and a Sensor (O2S) after the cat converter . If you have two cats then there will be 2 sensors for each converter. The Ho2S is a heated sensor and is different to the O2S sensor.. Use the special sensor tool so that the wires are not damaged

Locate o2 sensor

o2 sensors are at the rear of the cat converter-- HO2s sensors are at the front of the cat converter . Use the special tool to remove /replace them as if you don't then the wires will be damaged.

Runs rich, low gas mileage, smokes black with black splatters from exhaust

both o2 sensors are on the right side of vehicle if they are bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 1 sensor 2 ( S11 & S12) sounds like the o2 sensors may not be the problem. Possible restricted exhaust on bank 1 or a fuel delivery problem on bank 1. Have you checked the voltage readings on a scan tool for the sensors on the right bank ( bank 1) ? are they switching or are both voltages the same? If they are the same you will need a new cat converter.

Runs rough, replaced o2 sensor, bad vacuum hose with hole and replaced both upper and lower intake manifold seals which were supposedly sucking air...vehicle still running bad especially at idle and only...

two things to check- 1 fuel filter ,if that doesn't help- 2 catalytic converter

a dirty or plugged fuel filter can cause strange power/idle problems and is fairly easy to change, while the cat is more expensive but can cause prolems that look like an o2 sensor

My o2 sensor has gone, but i do not know where it is to replace it. Please help!

The O2 sensors located beside the cat converter. The one is pre-cat converter and other is pro-cat converter. The 1 before the catalytic converter and 1 after it. The 1 before is called the upstream and the 1 after is the downstream. ----------- Thanks.Helpmech.

How many o2 sensers are there on a 2003 ford taurus with the 3 liter dohc v-6

2 O2 sensors and 2 catalytic converter efficiency monitors, they look like O2 sensors but are not, they are after the cat converters, the O2's are before the cat converters in the exhaust pipe of the engine exhaust manifolds

Trying to replace both oxygen sensors having a hard time gettin to them tryin to figure out the best and easiest way to get to and remove them and what tool would be best on a 2002 ford escort zx2

The "Before" CAT O2 sensor is easy, just remove the exhaust heat shield and you should have enough space to get to it. The "After" CAT O2 Sensor is a bit harder; I found the easiest way to do that is to remove the right wheel and it will expose an opening that you can reach through to break it loose.
