The Owner's Manual has a diagram in it. If you don't have that, then a repair manual (a Chilton's or similar will do fine) has it, too. Most dealerships can print out a fuse panel diagram for you, or you can do a Web search for "1999 Contour fuse panel diagram" and you will find a number of them.

The Fuse Diagram is located inside the cover for the Power Distribution Box and You can get The owners manual Online that also has a list of Fuse locations and Fuse amp ratings. Good Luck, Hope it Helps.

dont know # but u can use a test light to test fuses or pull out 1 by 1 and check if good may be light switch which is a common problem with fords

Check the fuses. The proper way to test fuses is as follows:
With the ignition 'ON' check both sides of each fuse with a test light connected to 'ground' which is the battery negative terminal, or any clean unpainted metal part on the vehicle's chassis which you can clip on to will suffice. The test light should light on both sides of the fuse. If it lights on only one side, replace that fuse.
If after this check you find that all fuses are good, and the problem still exists, you need to test for 'power' and 'ground' on the dash light and turn signal circuits, in order to find where the problem or 'interruption' in the circuit is. If you feel up to it, wiring diagrams can be obtained at your public library.

dont have an actual diagram but if you check at mastercraft.com they have a copy of the owners manual online and its free to access.

do a google search and that should tell you where to get one from or try a junkyard or maybe the ford company can help.
