Loud Exhaust

you probably have a small hole before the muffler or a loose clamp. raise the car and visually check the exhaust pipe forward of the muffler for rust or holes or looseness.

Possibly your catalytic converter is clogging up. Short of using a thermometer to check exhaust temp's pre- and post-converter (the temp. after the converter should be about 100 degrees hotter that the temp. before the converter), the next best way is to run car with converter un-hooked and see if that is the problem.
Good luck.

How to fix s14 handbrake

You've got to replace your rear calipers. I say "calipers" because one is hanging up but they should be changed as pairs. Thanks, Dana P.S. It's more likely the calipers than the cables 90% of the time.

i dont like to just jump at a expensive thing like that. you should pull the intake side off the turbo and check your impeller endplay and up and down movement first. ill se what i can find for specs. but if it is realy loose then we know what ya have to do

i think your finding the limit of your turbo for the condition its in. a turbo spins on a small film of oil. that the shaft spins in a tight clearance of a brass bushing and if the turbo becomes out of balance it will fall on its face . this will happen at extreme rpm's and after a while the turbo will star to use oil. that is one of the signs. good luck and never shut down a turbo engine hot it can stick a turbo. if i can help let me know

New manifold

Hi I would just break the tube off, I'm trying to picture the tube, you said it goes exhaust to intake manifolds, its attached from one to the other? To me for what to said about the tube that its some kind of emission device almost like how a turbo works. so I would just disconnect the tube. Which manifold are you replacing? Hope this helps

Changing my 2.6 4 cylinder to a 3.2 v6

to be honest i'm not sure if they fit but the only thing i know is than the wiring is not the same for the electronic fuel injection, you might have to replace the computer or may be part or the whole harness, you better check the wiring diagram firts before trying to go v-6
