- My 1997 740IL 4.4 does not seem to have a cam sensor for the left bank (drivers side) looked high and low, easy to find the right side but the 97 is not the same as the 99 4.4, my engine light code read out has trouble codes for right and left cam sensor faults, please tell me how to find the 1997 740 IL left banks sensor or is there only one, thanks in advance, Joe- jfxlr88Yes
