Check into the fuel pressure regulator - they're inexpensive and they're easy to change (right up on top of the motor, by the driver's side fuel rail - it's the small mushroom-looking device with vacuum lines going into it). If it's messed up, it'll give too little or too much pressure to the fuel rails and can either cause the troublesome starting or the flooding.

Gm engine idle

sounds like timing issue. may have to time everything back to TDC (top dead cylinder). just because dealership did it doesnt mean its right. they could have missed something. also check your TPS (throttle position sensor) or IAC (idle air control)

1990 nissan 300zx has a bad fuel smell inside car. Can anyone give me tips on what to look for?

the problem is your fuel lines, in the engine room over the upper planum. they are pretty old and they will crack. Usually that samell comes when starting the engine in cold. Probebly your fuel line are finito. Change them all.
Hope this will helps.

My 300zx got smoke issue but im not sure.smoke come both sides when i start the car.it got little oil leak from turbos.but once engine got hot the smoke goes away.when driving it doesnt smoke.but it...

It sounds like you may need valve seals.
The oil sits in the head after the engine is cut off and leaks around the seals into the cylinder.
When you start the engine it burns the oil and sends the smoke out of the tailpipes.
It does not hurt anything much if it is not to bad.

1990 nissan 300zx N/T, when idiling, rpm's go up and down

Is your check engine light on? Mass Airflow Sensor would cause this and make your light come on. Check this website it may give you some more insight to what could be wrong ... click on the tech section and there is two sections for erratic idling ......

Hope this is helpfull, but I would hook a scanner on it and make sure there aren't any codes also check the vacuume lines.

Loss of power at 2400 rpm's

Check your mass airflow meter. If it's bad, at least on my 1990 300ZX, the car won't rev over 2400RPM (it's a safeguard built into the ECU of the car). Grab one from a scrapyard and swap it in and see if that fixes the issue.
