install new clutch, new clutch master cylinder bleed real well all new parts and still unable to put in gear clutch peddel real soft no pressure at all. what i'm I doing wrong?
hi depending on how they opperate they could probably charge up to about 2 hours labour... you would be supprised at how much mechanics round off their numbers
Sounds like the clutch is gone or going out. You can pull up on the clutch pedal with your hand then push down it should make a click sound but if the clutch is to far gone it won't make a difference. Your truck has a self adjusting clutch all ready. New clutch and labor for it will cost you $900 - $1200 dollars.
the part is called the pinion flange seal, pull the drive shaft, remove the large nut on the flange the drive shaft connects to and remove the flange, then pry out the old seal and lube the lip of the new seal with motor oil and press it into the opening. The 7.5 hour estimate is way wrong, about 1.5 hours labor and $4 for the part.
no it doesn't come filled basically you bleed it like a brake system. Fill the master cylinder and pump the clutch, there is a bleeder on the slave cylinder
i could type you the directions step by step but i think it would take all night, if i where you , i just go to the local auto parts store and pick up a repair manual, they are real cheap
