I just bought a 1996 camry and the fan sounds loud and it smells like something is burning, yet the temperture is normal and no smoke comes out. Is that Normal? First Toyota, so I"m not sure if the fan noise is normal. I know the smell is not, but have no idea?

Check the fan on broken blades - even a small part missing can cause unusual sounds. If parts are new / serviced - smell can be due to labels getting hot and emitting slight burning smell. Classic are exhaust pipes with partnumber labels left on there. If he smell stays, something in the interior might come from a crash car which was partly burned.

I OWN A 1996 NISSAN QUEST GXE THAT'S BLOWING BLUE SMOKE FRONT FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE AND I CAN SMELL ANTI FREEZE INSIDE.. I JUST BOUGHT VEHICLE AS A COMMUTER.

Sounds expensive. Blue smoke usually means oil in the combustion chambers, from worn out rings. Anti-freeze inside means leaking hoses or heater core. Not sure where the driver-side tire comes into this, unless that is where the smoke is coming from, in which case that likely a problem with a seized brake caliper.

Blue smoke in my 96 honda prelude

Blue smoke is usually an indication of oil burning. If you see blue smoke and hear a loud sound it could be a few things. The biggest being you have a hole in your block. You could also have a leak in your exhaust and be burning oil. A quick trip to a local autoparts store should answer this question. Most employees are willing to lend an ear and have experience with cars.
I recomend you dont take the car on anything other than short trips untill your problem is found and solved.

Noise and burning smell from heater

Yeah.
Pine needles get into the heater box and clog the heater fan motor's "fan".
You also may have rodents in there, making nests.
The wife was smart to turn off the heater fan B-4 the fuse blew.

Heater and aircon not working, loud rattling noise and smoke from vent, now not power to fan

It appears your fan itself burned out. When a field coil of an electrical fan burns out it usually makes a lot of smoke. The noise could be something that fell in there that stopped the fan from turning freely. I can imagine it heated up under the strain and burned out.

When you restarted it was burnt out so hence no noise and no fan.
The smell of the smoke should also be clue. Electrical field coils burning has an awful soury type of smell.

Camry smoke on startup

The key is the color and smell of the smoke.

IF coolant, the smoke is REALLY white and usually lots, and this smoke has a sweet smell. A pressure test may show some loss, and as well, often you get a little misfire that goes away.

If Oil, the color is white, but with a lot of blue, or darker...

Most of the time, after the converter warms up, it eats and converts both types of issues...

Steam, can be normal. Remember that for every gallon of fuel you burn, you actually generate 1 gallon of water. Typically evaporates or exits as steam, and is barely perceptable.
