Look into your MAF sensor, and if that doesn't solve it, try replacing your ignition control module.

I would mail them away for testing & ultra-sonic

Not likely the injectors are causing the dieing

Check for a worn timing chain & vacuum leaks

How to fix 1988 oldsmobile cutlass ciera diagnostic codes 21 and 22?

-It could be. But first able you need to take measurement its specification before replace it. I'll visually check the throttle . It could be any particle board stuck or may be the cable is stuck and never return to its position so the cable will hold the throttle open.

Good luck

Parking brake will not keep car from moving.

May be the rear brakes need adjusting,or the park brake cable needs tightened. If you leave it in park ,running,step on the brake ,notice how far the pedal travels,then apply the e brake.Step on the brakes again,if the pedal is firmer,the rear brakes need adjusted.If there is no difference the cable needs tightened

Car wont idle, dies and shifts eratically

Hello;
It definetly sounds like a vacuum leak problem. The vacuum hoses are routed to perform various functions for the engine and transmission. They can be very difficult to track down. They are small diameter black hoses and start at the intake manifold (the source) and go to their respective locations.
They could be cracked, oil soaked, loose fitting, or disconnected to name a few problems to look for. Take it to a mechanic if you do not feel comfortable replacing the hoses.
Thanks;
