If its burning oil then you could have a pcv valve problem(plugged) and changing it could fix it.the other things are bad rings, bad valve guides or valve seals.it could also be a cracked head or a bad head gasket leak by the oil drain passages and combustion chamber drawing in oil and burning.the ticking noise is either to thin of oil(dirty) by not changing it frequently low oil level or worn engine components that will need repair.

Water in oil 1995 Nissan pickup

It sounds like you have either an intake gasket leak or a head gasket going bad. Did you check compression on all cylinders or just 1?

Water in cylinders of a 1990 nissan pickup 4cyl in cylinders 1,2, and 3. no water in oil. know the problem?

Head gasket, it doesn't care which way it leaks, it could be getting blown out when running but seeping in when not running. Is there steam coming out the exhaust? Is it overheating? A compression check will tell you what is going on. Radiator shop will do it for you. Hope this helps.

Timing chain tensioner worn; plastic parts are in eng oil pan

No, should have enough room to slide it out ,if not disconnect the engine mounts and jack up or lift up the engine just enough to slide the pan.

I have a 1995 Hyundai elantra 5 spd 1.6L 4cyl leaking oil

It maybe a valve cover leak, the retangular covers (2) the sparks plugs are located along the side, if you see oil around you will need to have the valve cover gasket replaced
