Since it has be sitting in storage suggest you start out by cleaning the barttery cable ends. Then try to start it. If you are still just getting clicks then try a jump start. If it still won't start, then take the fan belt off and make sure that the engine will turn by hand - with a large socket wrench that is! If it will turn by hand, it is in your starting circuit, either a weak solenoid or bad starter. If it doesn't turn then it is internal to the engine.

Just put a new battery in my 1986 ford f250 but after letting it sit for about 4-5 hours the battery is dead and truck has no power. What could cause this problem? I figured it could only be the Alternator...

Check the battery. Any drain that would pull 20 amphours should spark terribly when you attach the battery cable. Fully charged battery usually 80 amphours+.

The Alternator diodes could do it, a grounded starter could do it. You have a truck, but rear window defrosters could pull down a battery quickly. Stuck Relays like the fuel pump, a bad ignition switch where nothing really cuts off when the key is removed. Shorted trailer plug.

Hope my solution helps you.

When I turn the key in my 1986 corvette, nothing happens. no sound at all

The vats system is not working you need to by a by pass. If you remove key shut and wait about 3minutes system should reset and car will start.

How do I charge the battery on a Ferrari F599?

if you are asking this because your vehicle is driven seldomly or in storage you should get a low amperage trickle charger. there are many different types but you need one with an automatic cutoff when the battery is fully charged and no more than 1 amp is necessary

Ferrari 328gts gets 100 km/h and experiences whole car shudder which goes when I decelerate. Have balanced the wheels have not done an alignment have not checked drivetrain. Any ideas?

Several things to check are wheel bearings and brake rotors. The rotors can have weights welded to them. Sometimes they rust off. Some manufactuers recommend spin balancing on the car.

When you spin balance on the car, you will balance the rotors at the same time. Two things to remember, mount the wheels exactly to the same stud if you take off the wheels for any reason and if you rotate the tires you will have to respin the wheels.
