Question about 1997 GMC Suburban
Hi I have a 97 suburban, I get fuel up to the tbi but not getting through any injectors. The fuel pump is putting out fuel and the truck will run if I spray carb cleaner right down the Tbi, but no gfas through the injectors. Could it be the throttle position sensor, Mark.
Disconnect the injector connector from the injector ,You have to make sure that the fuel injector is receiving 12 on one side of the connector with the key On, If So good leave the tip of the test light there and connect the clip of the testlight to the other termnal in the connector, do not allow the two to touch togother! have someone crank the engine the test light should Blink when hooked across the connector confirming the computer is grounding the circuit and there is 12V available at the injector.
If no power at the injector connector contact me and I will help you diagnose the source of the problem.
If there is No blink contact me and I can help you the injector ground is controlled by the computer which receives its signal from the spinning distributor usually the pick-up assemble inside the distributor and sometimes the control module.
