Question about Saturn Vue

1 Answer

2004 Vue--pulls to one side when starting from a stop light. When stopping it shakes quite noticeably. Previous smooth ride is now not very comfortable. Is it brakes, tires, shocks?

Sounds like you have a bad tire on the front look for a buldge in the tire or tire seperation. be careful this tire could blow and cause a major problem also check the lugnuts could be loose.

Hi,
Probably the ride height sensor has failed or come unplugged, Crawl under the right side and check it is still connected, if so undo the arm connecting it to the lower suspension arm. Now get someone to start the car whilst you manually move the sensor arm up and down. If nothing happens to the ride height the sensor is gone,or the wiring is damaged or something, and will need to be replaced

when you are stoped does the car idle fine. when the rpms are low the compressor does not get the pressure up high enough. you may need to get you idel turned up a little or your vaccume advance may have a vaccume leak.

Engine shakes and can not accelerate as quick when starts

If the engine light is on, a code scanner needs to be connected to it to find out why the light is on. It could be one of the sensors causing it. Take to autozone or advanced auto if there is one near you, if not call a repair shop that can do it. Autozone and advanced don't charge. Takes about 30 seconds.

Check for vacuum leaks, especially the intake gaskets. Does it run rough on a cold start for a few seconds and then smooth out and run fine until the next cold start?
