Code radio

I have some de-code software I use here at my shop. It works about 90 percent of the time. I will be happy to try and look it up for you but will need to know the manufacturer of the radio as well as the serial numbers off of it. You can send that information to csautomotivecars@att.net and I will try. Don't want to get your hopes up but there wouldn't be any cost to you for me giving it a shot.

2003 Mitsubishi Lancer ES. First had code, changed both O2 sensors. Bad sulfur smell resolved, check engine light resolved for about 400 miles, then came back on. Same code, but the smell is still gone....

Probably a bad catalytic converter. Causing back pressure and making your O2 sensors read wrong. Cheap gas of less than 87 octane can cause incomplete combustion giving the sulpher smell and leave deposits in the exhaust. The sulpher smell originally came from fuel additives in your gas. Cheap gas especially. Your converter puts it out as sulphuric acid. This damages the sensors and converter. Ultimately though, what cause sconverter failure prematurely is idling your car for long periods. Over 3 minutes is not recommended.

I have code p0700

The trans axle Control Module (TCM) monitors the malfunction of sensors and actuators relating to trans axle control. When the TCM detects a malfunction with the control, a signal is send to the Engine Control Module (ECM) to trigger the Engine Light or Service Engine Soon light. The ECM stores the P0700 code and it means the TCM detected a malfunction with the trans axle controls.
Possible Causes - Shorted or open circuit within transmission control module (TCM)
- Failure of trans axle control module
Since the P0700 is just and informative code, check the TCM for more codes to resolve the problem.
