You'll have to open up the dash board to replace the bulbs....i had the same problem, when i took it to my local repair for a estimate, they told me it would cost around $125. $125? WOW! i got tired of using small blue lights i bought from walmart that goes into the cigarette lighter. its not hard to do, as long as you know where your screws are to open the dash board. bulbs are only about $3......big *** difference.

Should be under an panel on the side of the dash on the driver side. Open the driver side door. Look for a small square panel with a lock knob at the bottom on the side of the dash. That is where it should be.
I would suggest you remove the dash light dimmer control rheostat (In most cases part of the main headlight switch) and test it for continuity, I think it may be defective, please perform the testing before replacing any parts.
First-on dashboard right hand side of steering wheel there are large (approx 1" sq) buttons-push to turn on-push again to turn off-for the rearwindow defroster, hazard flashing lights and....cruise control. Push cruise button to "on" and you'll see green lights on speedometer bezel light up. On end of wiper control stick on rightside of steering wheel-you'll find a pushbutton. Get car to speed you want-then push this button in. To turn off cruise control completely-push first button you pushed on dashboard.
Easy fix. Usually the blower motor resistor gets messed up. (Page 3-8 Haynes manual 47017). The dash light could be a few things. All my bulbs went bad. Little bit of a hassle but no problem with the book.
