Response to the previous post....Hi, it will blow hot muggy air if it sat there for 20 min. Even with the windows down. The only time it will get cold is when you start moving. Also the vehicle has stalled a few times with the ac on. If i go into a store and come back out it starts all over again. The vehicle does not stall all the time. Mostly when at idle speed. Sometimes it will hesitate when letting off of the brake. Other than that the motor runs fine all the time. Thanks

check the fuse/relay. if it is neither of these check the switch with a multimeter. If you can hear the motor trying to move the glass when you try the switch it may be the regulator needs attention. It may be the motor needs to be replaced.
check fuse and relay along with the switch first then the regulator and motor afterwards. Replacing the small electronics is obviously easier than having to open up the tailgate to check the mechanics of the winedow.
be sure the gate is fully closed or it will not roll up if it is firmly in place and still does not go up you will have to remove the cover and see if the actuator plastic has broken off from the switch, it also could be a bent rod and or the switch is bad. Check fuses as well just to be sure before going to all the other work to pull cover off. Hope this is helpful and thanks for using Fix-ya.
I just changed my battery as well in my 04 Envoy XUV and the air on the passenger side would not blow. The air has since returned after I restarted but the flow on the bottom has been out for some time even before the battery change.
Hi, do you turn the AC as soon as you start the car? If this is the case yes if will blow hot until the AC kicks in. What the ac does is not put cold air in to the vehicle it removes the heat from the air, so it does take time for it to do this.A little trick for a bit quicker is to roll down a window these just helps. I read that once it starts getting cold it stays cold is this right? Once it stays cold have you notice that if you stop for just like running into the store and you start the car back up is it still cold or does the problem starts over? Hope this helps some please let me know.
