Question about 2004 GMC Envoy
I have had this problem for a while. When you start the vehicle and turn on the ac i blows warm until you start moving and then it will cycle between warm and cold for a couple minuets. Finally it will get cold and stay cold. Dealership has drained the system and recharged it and still nothing. They say that they cant duplicate the problem. As i told them it does it every day. I left it with them for over a week and still nothing. That afternoon that i picked it up it did it again. Please help. Have a small baby and it is aggrivating. Thanks.
Hi, do you turn the AC as soon as you start the car? If this is the case yes if will blow hot until the AC kicks in. What the ac does is not put cold air in to the vehicle it removes the heat from the air, so it does take time for it to do this.A little trick for a bit quicker is to roll down a window these just helps. I read that once it starts getting cold it stays cold is this right? Once it stays cold have you notice that if you stop for just like running into the store and you start the car back up is it still cold or does the problem starts over? Hope this helps some please let me know.
