Ummm... maybe an airflow problem? changed air filter anytime recently?or is it in need? a really dirty air fitler can cause these problems and is often overlooked..check it first :D save some dough for those pipe fittings

2006 Jetta TDI Stalls in gear

These little engines(although very good little engines)have a problem with carbon build up in the intake manifold. It builds up so bad it begins to choke the engine off. The only solution is to remove the intake and soak with a good solvent over night and will generally take you a good couple of hours to clean out to get to "like new" again. Once this is accomplished, it's like driving your car new again!!

1993 jeep grand Cherokee...stutter in drive at low rpm

Hello;
Have you checked your fuel pressure and volume? You may not be getting the ful sufficiently to the injectors. Also, change your fuel filter if you haven't already. Is the check engine light on?
Thanks;

Sounds like the converter clutch is engaging. Maybe converter selonoid? Should get put on scanner to be sure.

Jumps when I pull away first thing in the morning, no problem when warm (1999 Jetta GL)

the same thing happend to my 1996 jetta trek. when u put it in reverse to start off anywhere its perfectly fine. but when u put it into drive it stalls for a few seconds than jumps.
The transmission is going to go out on you anyday.
mine blew on me about a month when this started happening to me.
i was driving and the car just randomly went into neutral, tried all the gears and all i had was reverse.
BLOWN!

took it to 2 different places to get it fixed, 1st place asked $3500, 2nd place asked $2500.
too much money so we had a family friend put a rebuilt tranny in for $1600.

Car starts fine, but dosent run

unplug your mass airflow sensor and see if it will run more consistently is wont run great, but better if there is a problem with it, it is located in line of the air intake coming off the air box, if that helps look inside the air box for a rats nest plugging the air meter please rate -jeff

Car starts fine...but dosent run

ok... first question... the Tach(rpm guage) does change when you rev your engine in either P or neutral? Also.. is your check engine light on? any odd smells(burnt eggs) if your check engine light is on.. it's most likely a fualty sensor.. based on educated guess idle air control valve .. ot maybe posibly a faulty throttle position sensor.. if you have a foul smell.. similar to eggs or just nasty... could be a catalytic converter went bad... reply and lemme know if i help.. or raise new questions :D
