Question about 1997 Chrysler LHS
Lost my keyless entry remote and my keys to car, was able to give vin number to dealership for new key...but when I unlock drivers side door and open door alarm goes off...not sure how to deactivate it as car wont start either with alarm going off.
The fuse for the alarm is under the hood. Give a good look and you should find it. Once you have pulled it it will deactivate the alarm I am not sure if this is exactly your problem since you said that the car wont start.... but it is worth a try.

Have a seat in your Honda and close the doors, but make sure they are unlocked.
Turn your ignition key to the "On" position, labeled by two lines (II). Press the "Unlock" button on your keyless remote. Turn your ignition key to the "Off" position.
Repeat the procedure three times, and then turn the ignition key to "On." Immediately press the "Lock" button on your keyless entry. Listen for the doors to lock, and then unlock to signal that you are in programming mode.
Press the "Lock" button on the keyless remote, and then turn the ignition to the "Off" position to confirm.
