Hi there,

You are not alone. Here's how to get the code.
Copy down the VIN number of your vehicle and serial number of the radio (if you can get to it).
Call Mitsubishi. Ask for the service department.
Tell them your situation.
They will give you the code and procedure to enter it.
That's it!

How do I change the Alternator on a 1995 Mitsubishi Diamante - can you help please

Disconnect your battery first, raise the vehicle as high as possible and make sure you place 2 solid car stands (DO NOT LEAVE ON JACK) under vehicle, you will see the alternator on the front drivers side, remove all the electrical connections, plug, cable etc. if it has a plug it will also have a locking tab, make sure you press the tab otherwise you will not be able to remove, take note of wires and where they go. It will still have the alternator belt on it, this should not cause any problems, if you can loosen the adjuster and take the belt off it will be out of your way but not essential. Undo the upper and lower retaining bolt/nut on the alternator and gently slide out. When reinstalling make sure the belt is at correct tension. It is also worth noting that a lot of vehicles with codes on stereos and alarms may need resetting once the battery is connected!!!

I Just brought a used 1995 Diamante. Nice car, in good con dition. Butr the radio that comes with the car has a factory code to unlock it. It says it;s on the card that comes with the car but there was...

All coded radios were done at the factory, so only the Dealership will have this information on their database.

Contact your local Mitsubishi Parts Dept - as long as you prove ownership of the vehicle, they will provide you with the 4-digit code.

The radio code for a 1995 mitsubishi diamante

Mitsubishi dealer is the only one that can help you with the radio code. You will need to prove ownership of the vehicle and VIN number with the serial number of the radio. All radio's do not have the same code, otherwise a code would be useless in preventing theft, and theft is the reason why they have unlock codes.
