My truck wont start it blew up a battery and it blew the lights now its getting no spark to the coil its not the fuses its not the coil could it be the relay in the distributor

first of all you have to find out why the batt, and the lights blew, sounds like the alt, remove it and have it checked, a voltage spike that strong should have blown fuses first but not in the ac range, from there start checking wires and resistance on electrical components

98 tiburon fx. battery blew up driving down the freeway. replaced battery, car wouldn't start. replaced crankshaft and cam sensors, along with coil pack. noticed a blown fuse for rear defogger and...

The reason why the battery blew up is because of a deffective alternator. The charging regulator on the alternator has malfuntioned, and caused the battery to be overcharged. The reason why your car wont start is because overvoltage has damaged some of the electronic sisytem in the car associated with the ignition system.

Hello I blew the crank fuse is it possiable that I blew another cause car wont start.

yes quite possible you may have blown another fuse too--- if the wiring's are grounded somewhere get it checked.and yes the car wont start until you change the fuse.also check that the fuse insertion socket is not rusted.if its rusted just clean it properly before putting in new fuse.

thanks, keep updated and please rate the solution positively.
