I have a 1995 mercedes c180 elegance. When i open my drivers door window it works ok but when i close it the front passenger window opens. I have been told that is has something to do with the control unit. I would like your opion on this problem. I am in Dublin Ireland. Thank you.

Electric windows

Regulators often go bad--may be a lever issue too - don\'t change parts till u know --inspect wiring and plugs etc--a failing module might be causing it. May be a good idea to get your car scanned.

Drivers side window is like it has dropped out an i have no idea about electric windows the motor still works but heard a crunch when i was winding it up it reached the top then crunched and then proceeded...

You'd want to take it to either a mechanic or a body shop, either would be able to solve the issue.

Chances are, the regulator is broken, and there isn't really a problem w/ the motor.

96 Park Ave has major electrical issues. ac, power

I think you may want to have the battery looked at first. As for that noise. you may have a automatic leveling and that would be the pump kicking on and off.

Rear window and passenger windows will not

The last couple of times I have seen this complaint, the "Lock" button on the master (driver's door) switch had been depressed. Unlatching the lock button (pushing it again) solved the problem. On most cars, when the lock button is depressed, the windows can still be operated by the driver, but prevent the windows from being operated by the passengers. Toyota is different. If the lock button is depressed, nobody, including the driver can work the wndows.

I have a 2006 Honda Accord and the wndows will not go up at times, except for drivers window. Sometimes they go up sometimes they don't. Checked fuses and they look fine

You might have to replace the window switch control on the driver side door. If you have more than one window that will not work.

Power window won't work

You need to change the window regulator without the motor on the door as the cable from the regulator may be snap out its place ...
