Civic 98 system too lean bank 1 p0171 lost of power during warm up iddle poorly when hot like 400rpm

P0171 System too Lean (Bank 1) clean the MAF system ( mass air flow) and look for vacuum leaks ,, do this easily by spraying carb cleaner in the downstream area of the MAF sensor,, the motor will rev up a little if it detects a bad hose or leak

Changed thermastat, spark plugs, new intake car is over heating during shifting is this my water pump 99 civic lx 5spd

can't necessarliy automatically blame the water pump, check entire cooling system related components , check air flow through radiator and condensor, often overlooked and plugged with bugs and road debris, check all hoses for condition especially for a collasped bottom hose due to your opening system to R&R thermostat... you may have to bleed air from your system ... check coolant condition for specific gravity.. clogged internally radiator, check flow with cap off engine cold pressure relieved watch flow to see when thermostat is opening... should have increased contant flow. check belts for proper tension and condition.

1999 Honda Civic 4 Door 80000 miles

To my knowledge, the PCV valve for a 1999 Honda Civic fits into a socket on the block and a tube leads from a nipple on the PCV valve to the intake manifold. As posted here, "Chiltons repair manual ... says on the passenger side near the top of the crank case leading to the air intake. In other words open your hood look down where it says "HONDA" right above the spark plug wires come out and to the distributor cap. Look at the letter "H" then look above the about 1.5 inches then left about 4-5 inches you will see a black hose with a clamp on it curving to the right to a smaller metal tube leading to the black box about (8-9 inches) where your air filter goes to. That's where it's >suppose< to be,up top near the letter "H"."

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
