this is indicative of a faulty ignition switch or ignition circuit.
When you have it in the start position the power is divided between the coil and the starter motor. hence it starts
when you let the key go to the run position the power is stopped to the starter but a new circuit is opened to the coil hence providing power to the coil for the engine to keep running. There is a resistance wire to the coil that lowers the voltage for running. Your problem will be in that run circuit if not in the ignition switch
hi, the rubber running around the edge needs to be facing upwards so that the fins on the filter are facing down, hope you under stand that. The fins need to be down not up so facing upwards you should have a smooth surface.

Might have air in the line.. Did you bleed the lines properly when you did the work ?
Take the cap off of the master. Open the pass side bleede valve.. Let it run out while you keep the master full at all times.. Let a few pints or so run through.. Clsoe everything tight before toutching the brk peddle..
It could also be a bad break line.. The flexable one that runs from the metal line to the calipar..
yes sir you can jerry rig a toogle switch. ran a hot wire, to the pos. side on the blower moter, and ground the blower motor to the frame of the car..not a perfect fix, but cheap and will work..keith..
replace the fuel pump. it is internally shorted
by hitting the gas tank it jars the pump enough to make it run,then it shorts out agin and shuts off also perlace the fuel filter when u replace the fuel pump
