I had the same problemon my 87 model z. If you are looking at the front of the car THe battery Should be one the left. Just below the battery there is a little black box with some diferent colored wires in it. The one closest the the front of the car(SHOULD BE GREEN) is called a fusible link. You cant tell if its melted by the naked eye most likely, but if you pull on that wire i guarantee that its burnt. Touch the two burnt ends back together and vialah, everything cuts back on. Make sure your battery wasnt installed backwards. That was the reason mine blew. Thanks peace

Also, do you have the electronic dash? Do those lights still work dimly with the headlamps on? Check your positioning of the dash dimmer switch. It'll have a little light bulb icon on the switch.

Speedometer quit working and odemeter 1991 dodge caravan does that work by fuses or what do you think i need?

If only the speedometer is inop, it will 90% of the time be a speed sensor. 1 10mm bolt and a plug tales 5 minutes to replace
If any other issues occur it is likely In th dash and see earlier suggestions or seek a professional shop, or a salvage yard to replace the cluster . Is your easliest solutions

Lights or fuse for my speed odemeter guage and heater/air conditioning system

These lights for the dash are controlled by a rheostat instrument control dimmer switch next to the main light switch for the headlights, it is either turned off (have seen this dozens of times) or it is defective. Below is a picture of the switch assembly I speak of. The thumb wheel next to the knob is the dimmer control.

'97 Malibu, dash lights don't work

Check your fuses. The dash lights are on a different fuse. Also check dimmer switch. If its not one, then it is the other. Try working dimmer switch quickly back and forth( with the lights on when it's dark so you can see if they come on).

94 Plymouth acclaim speedometer and dash lights wont work

Try replacing light bulbs and flasher which may correct the turn signals. Check all fuses, however as for the speedometer, the plastic clogs or wheels have run their course, If you intend to replace these, suggest you purchase a repair manual for your vehicle.
