It should be just the two straps that are holding it in place you may need to wiggle it a bit and did you take the flller hose lose? you know where you put the gas in there should be a clamp holding it in place.it should drop down with the two straps loosened

How do I change the fuel pump inside the tank on a 1994 ford econoline

ok one of two ways the easy way is to locate the tank then go inside and see if there is a panel in the floor to access the top of the tank and if there isn't one then get some coveralls because the job just got alittle harder first u have to jack up the vehicle and put jack stands under on the fame then unhook the fill spout and any other hoses you can see and then unhook all wires then drop the tank by taking the straps off that hold the tank also us a jack and a long enough board to hold the tank while you undo the straps then when the tank is on the ground you will see a round panel where you removed hoses from that is your pump housing take that out and the rest is really easy

Third row seat in escalade is stuck in stow position, lever will not budge

If you are pulling the strap and this is not moving the locking part, then you will need to use something like a screwdriver and pry it away from its holding part. Also there are two latches back there...one to lower and one to take the seats out.

How to replace the gas gauge sending unit in a 1999 gmc yukon

You have to drop the tank. Should be two straps under the vehicle holding the tank up. Then you will need some quick connect fuel tools to unhook the lines. Unhook the fuel fill hose. Then it is a matter of a couple of electrical snaps. Take ring off top of sending unit and pull it out.

How do you drop the fuel tank off of the car

will need to unhook the filler connection. unhook all wires connected to the fuel pump on top of the tank, unhook gasoline hoses from the fuel pump and then take off the straps holding the tank in place. Dirty job so blow as much dust and dirt off as possible before taking the pump out.

Bad fuel pump

you have to drop the gas tank in order to change out the pump

1 take the straps loose thata hold the tank
2 put a jack under the tank to hold it as you allow it to come down
3 unhook the lines that run to the tank as well as the wiring harness
4 unhook the fill tank hose
5 lower the tank to the floor
6 remove the O ring that holds the pump in the tank
7 pull the old fuel pump out and put the new one in the same way the old one came out.
8 the rest you do in reverse order.
