Question about 1990 Ford Taurus
I recently bought a new cd player to replace the stock cassette deck in my car. I think something went wrong with the re-wiring process because i have 4 wires left over and the interior light and turn signals don't work and the cd player doesn't turn on. This was done following the wiring guide fir the car and the instructions provided with the new cd player. Help? I transfered my cd player from my mazda into my 1990 Ford Taurus. At first the power came on and the disc started playing but there was no sound. I thought it was a problem with the speakers so I re did everything. Then there was a slight static noise and now the thing does not come on at all. I reinstalled the cassette deck and that does not work either. Is the fuse blown?
Read my other solution on the other one you posted. yes, the fuse is more-than-likely blown. but also you wired it completely wrong. look on my other solution on the other one you posted, it has the correct wiring diagram. there are 2 wires on the wiring diagram i posted that have the lights. one red is the int.light, and the other one is the turn signal wiring.

lol... just go buy a harness you don't know what you're doing hardwiring this if you have 4 wires left over.
there should only be 2 wires left over (in most cases... unless you use a remote and power antenna)
