When i start my Jeep most of the time when I put it in reverse it wants to stall , then when i put it in drive i will push the gas and my RPM's will go up but my car wont move for a second like it takes a minute to go... I have chaned some sensors and i dont know what else to do? Also if I am sitting at a stop sign I have to put the Jeep in nuetral or it will stall on me.. Does anyone know what the problemcould be?

Best thing to check is your fuel filter. After sitting for a little while, it will allow fuel through it but when you put a demand on the system, it cant supply enough and will sputter and die. Its easy to replace and very inexpensive. If it continues after that, you will at least know it was eliminated and can move from there.

Jeep 2004 grand Cherokee stalls after short distance? What could be the problem

no engine option stated, we can fix cars blind, and 2x blind is impossible.
Ill assume its USA car, and Gas engine, wow.
GAS 101
  1. lost 12vdc power to EFI system. dash goes dead, or HL dim.
  2. engine overheats and or compression loss hot.
  3. lost spark (ASD relay drops) the scan tool will TELL you way !
  4. lost fueling (ASD drops that too) or low fuel pressure.
  5. EGR stock open
  6. ISC stuck closed starving engine of fresh air.

but you never did test 1.
can you save the stall with a fast right foot. #6 hard but can, #7 super easy. to do, as foot pedal really is air.

2001 jeep grand cherokee stalls as i coast to a stop, jest had a tuneup

I would check the fuel pressure and take a look at the throttle position sensor and the idle air control valve.
Most of the time stalling on take-off is a lack of fuel, and stalling at idle is a lack of air going thru the control valve or the throttle body.

Stalls and backfires 1997 jeep grand cherokee limited replaced the map sensor, coil rotor. distributer, spark plugs, spark plugs wires. throttle body pressure sensor ,ingnition coil IAT sensor. amd still...

you need to check the fuel pressure, and did you mean you replaced the distributor or just the rotor because inside the distributor is a pickup plate that some times causes this also 02 sensor can cause this.is your check engine light on if so go to chain auto parts store they usually read your codes for free.

I have a 1997 jeep grand cherokee with automatic and 4.0 six cyl engine--it drives great for a day or two then stalls out seemingly for no reason--now tonight it has no spark from the coil--so I feel it is...

Unlikely that it's a computer. Check your coil and the grounds, make sure you don't have any breaks in the wires that could cause an intermittent problem.

1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Stalls out, engine quits running

since its a 1997 your jeep has EFI, electronic fuel injection. The most probable reason for your troubles would be the injectors or a problem with the computer controling them, not allowing enough gas to be pushed into the cylinder causing stalling or lack of power, also too much gas iin the cylinder can lead to back firing and stalling. This would also explain the reason it takes so long to start back up some times, all the excess gas in the cylinder is flooding the motor and u have to wait till the gas disipates till the engine will turn over.
