Check your evap hose. It may be pluged up.

There is a small 1/2" hose under the evap make sure it is not clogged or pulled out.

How do I get the water out from under the carpets of a Subaru 2011 Outback?

Most cars have a set of rubber plugs conveniently located under the carpet and they go through the floor. You can pull them out from underneath the car, or at worst, by pulling off a couple of panels to get to the carpets. They are usually about 1.5 inches in diameter. If you leave them out of the car for a couple of days depending on the weather, the water will dissipate.

Water leaking into the front carpets

Sounds horribly like a leaking heater hose or the heater core on the way out. The other option might be the aircon drain. Remove the cover panel under the dashboard, get a torch and inspect all visible hoses

Paassenger footwell on my audi a4 1.9tdi(1999) 110bhp has water running into it when air con/heater is running. Any idea's?

Most likly the drain hose for the aircon is dislocated or is blocked up. If upon inspection you find hose still connected then a low preasure air inject into hose may unblock. If you can get a venturi suction on the hose that will extract. some form of vacume pump will do the same. Best to extract any blockage if you can as it will only re-occour

Carpet damp on passenger side of 2004 infinitti I35

I had the same problem with my BMW and found that the aircon unit behind the dash was leaking and had to be replaced. Have an aircon service shop do a leak detection test on the system.

If your car has a sunroof, one if the sunroof drains runs down through windshield post down through to bottom of the car. If it gets plugged it will back up into car. If it's coolant you're finding (sticky and smelling like coolant) your heater core is leaking

Hi. Have your car aircon evaporator cleaned. Check also the drain hose. All water should go out of the car through the drain hose. There might be something clogging up the hose that is why water will run out the floor and that causes also the aircon to work intermittently.

Have a good one!

The cooling fan should run continuously when the A/C is on. If it does then I suggest you drain and flush the cooling system, and replace the thermostat. Fill it with a fresh supply of a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and distilled water.

Water on passenger floorboard

Iside the car,in the middle of the console is a shallow tray. Its job is to catch the codensation that drips off the aircon.Same as you see hoses coming off home aircons.this is what is in the car. There is a hose, about as thick as a finger, that drains the codensation out through the firewall of the car and into the rear of the engine bay to the ground. There may be 2 hoses. One either side if its a split catchtray. The hose has either been knocked off or is blocked.Usually blocked. The tray itself gets dirt in it and this is where 'gunk' can buildup over the drain hole.Find the hose and shoot some compressed air up the hose or run some line trimmer cord up there.Hope this helps
