Question about 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Air flitler Where do I find the air filter on my 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo to replace it? I am not used to these new engines that dont have a carb so not sure where to look to find to replace it. Thanks.

Look on the drivers side under the hood.it should be in a rectangle plastic box. it will have a hose coming from the engine that leads from the engine.

My 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo ss has a miss. Rpm gauge jumps up an down while driving. Has new air filter, plugs an wires. Other suggestions?


Stop by any good parts store and have them do an OBII scan (fault scan) Most will do it FREE. They'll pull codes and identify what is causing your "miss"

open the thingy over the engine thingy look for a round or square thingy.. Open that thingy, the filter hicky will be inside...

Thats like puting new Blood into your body
but your Liver is so cloged up it cant clean the blood

2002 monte carlo ss


The fuel filter is located in the pressure line that runs from the fuel tank to the engine, near to the fuel tank.
Keep the engine off for few hours before replacing the filter, to get rid of some pressure in the lines.
