Question about 1996 Nissan 300ZX
My 300zx would not start for me so i turned up the throttle on the computer and it started for me it was running fine until it started sputtering and i reved it up and it turned off then it backfired, i tryed to start it agian and it started and turned off, and backfired i dont know what to do please help me
I still think this is a timing problem, most likely with the crankshaft sensor. However, it could also be in the throttle positioning sensor, since you had raised the idle to get it to work momentarily. Also, the mass air flow sensor cannot be ruled out entirely. I would start with the crank sensor, then the throttle positioning sensor. Try these and let me know.
