Question about 1999 Ford Expedition
Vehicle starts fine, then nothing. All dash lites come on radio etc. I assume the battery is good and the vehicle keeps a charge so I dont think it is an alternator issue.
Try finding your starter that will be directly bolted onto the engine, probably underneath.
Hit it with a Metal hammer or wrench a few good times and see if it kicks over.
If its turning over and no spark is igniting your fuel, try new pluggs and wires,
possibility your distributor is bad.
TRY THE STARTER 1st..
If you need to look up on the net where it is at on your truck do so.
Give it a few Good beats on the metal housing and try to start it.
If you have a friend who can help get him over their to try turning the key as you hit the starter
this usualy will fix this problem for some time, but if it does.,, plan on buying a New starter so your not left stranded one day.
Good luck and let me know how this turned out.
