Question about 1990 Jaguar XJ6

1990 jaguar xj-6 sometimes won't accelerate when pushing on pedal won't go

Converters are fine had them checked. when pulling out car wont' accelerate and pick up speed right away and does great most of the time. Could it be air flow meter?

    Im buying this car that is in good condition but it will not sppeed up is there another way of getting this car home with out getting a tow truck,Thanks

Yes it could be the mass airflow sensor, it could also be an O2 sensor, or the EGR valve.

If your car has a distributor cap then condensation got in it and must be dried off with a paper towel. you must loosen the cap, usually has 2 screws or clips.

2003 jaguar x type won't accelerate

have a look at your fuel filter, pump, these may need replacing could had a vapour lock or the catalytic converter may be clogged but this would also show some overheating or the fuel inlet could be clogged. chance is it is a problem within the fuel system

96 jaguar 4.0 6 cylinder wont start from cold..but

Check to see if it has a cold start injector, and check the coolant temp sensor.
