- did bleed brakes.the EHCU has two valves one pushes out when patel is push.Same Problem

- the brake padle is going to the floor, and there is a light in the dash with a car shape, the rear end of it is lit and reads "brake" it is not the usual "hand brake on light" but a different one. I am thinking it must be a master cylinder or something.- GuestNov 11, 2008
- The day before, I drove over 30 miles and my brakes were just fine, I had absolutely no problems. Today, as I began to brake, the brakes barely worked. Normally, I could go from 10 m.p.h to a stop almost instantly. Now, it takes me about 3-4 seconds. Tommorrow, I know I should check the brake fluid, and the brake pads? If there are problems with either of those, what should I do?Thanks- jedamis

Did you bleed the brake system after replacing the master cyl? If not this could be the biggest part of your problem. So bleed your system see if that helps.
I would go back over over the lines that you attached to the new master cyl, just to hake sure that they are tight , clean them up could have one with a crack in it.Re-Bleeder you system any see how it is. Possible that you got a bad rebuilt. Did you bench bleed the master cyl before you install it? Please let me know how you make out.
